Edgemere Residents Showcase Original Artwork at Community Art Show

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 30, 2012 - Edgemere retirement resort recently had a special art show showcasing the work of residents.  While some residents have been painting since they were very young, others picked up a paintbrush for the first time to create their own masterpiece.  Dozens of residents produced more than 75 pieces, including acrylic, pastel, watercolor and oil paintings.  

“The resident art show was sensational,” said Lorraine Kendrick, lifestyles director at Edgemere. “We did not think we would have enough art work this year but as it turned out we had more than enough! The creative arts studio was overflowing with beautiful paintings from the event.  Residents are already looking forward to next year’s show.”
