Aug. 30, 2012 - PRLog -- Richard Lee is a professional trumpet player since he was 14-years old, when he would cut high school classes to go to college music classes with his older friends, Richard's musical career was shaped and reflects his early indoctrination by a friend at a young age to gospel music. By his early 20's he was playing with guitarist, Ed Cherry, drummer, Igancio Berroa and bass player, Marcus McGlaughin.

Richard's new musical style "Vibe" is a fusion of this seasoned musical performer's experience playing the full range of musical language including classical, funk, rap, heavy metal, rhythm and blues, trance and gospel. From his tours in the states, including
recent appearance at the Bingham Jazz Fest with Pucho and the Latin Soul Brothers, to international tours in Mexico, Canada, Greece, Spain, the UK, Denmark, Norway, Sweden,Finland Germany and Jamaica Richard's musical style is immediately recognized by performers for its individual sound and his ability to give the jazz trumpet, an instrument not usually adapted to different styles, a new voice.

A short list of venues have included an appearance with Stanley Jordon and Buddy Miles at the Blue Note, shows at Sweet Basil's with The McCoy Tyner Trio, The Cotten Club, Elbow Room, New Music Café, Mondo Perso, and Mondo Cane. Led his 10-piece orchestra at The Bitter End, His band " Irrational Logic" was the guest house band on, CNBC's Amcerica's Talking with Bill McCuddy and America After Dark, the Pat Sayjak show, and the Jerry Lewis Telethone.

While formal training has given Richard the tools to execute his music, it's the experience of playing with seasoned performers all over the world, the sounds, voices and feeling of locations he has lived in and listened to, that he has fused to create his "Vibe."

Music is Richard's life and his life is his music.
