New Website Gives Pet Lovers A Resource To Save And Foster Animals In Need

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 30, 2012 - On September 8th 2012 Animal Petbook will officially launch their website animapetbook.com at the Paws for a Cause event. The website will serve as a resource for pet owners who have medical emergencies for their pets and do not wish to have their pet put down due to the inability to pay for treatment. The site also will provide a resource to connect foster pet parents with current pet owners in need of temporary care for their animals. "Most shelters will not take pets and that tends to have people stay on the street or in abusive relationships rather than leave their animal. The site will connect foster pet parents with people in need." says owner of Premier Centre for the Arts, Fred Munzert.

The Paws for a Cause event consists of two separate events held at The Premier Centre for the Arts. The day event begins at 10:00AM and is free to attend. The event features vendors, kids games, pet adoptions and live entertainment. The Red Carpet Gala begins at 7PM and will feature a silent auction, cash bar, comedians, singers/songwriters and bands on multiple stages. The night closes out with the band YNOT?! and Switzerland pop artist Milow the Girl. All proceeds from the night will go to Delaware Humane Society. Singer/Songwriter Milow the Girl is a spokesperson and advocate of animals including the Humane Society of the United States. The APB website, which is currently in beta and invite only testing hopes to serve as a resource to veterinarians and pet owners alike. "I was tired of going on Facebook and watching pets being put down because of lack of money or resources. Organizations were putting it out there but not really offering a viable solution for a person anywhere in the world to be able to do something quickly without a large amount of correspondence.
