Business Health Services Launches New Logo

Sept. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – Business Health Services (BHS) today officially unveiled a new company logo and logotype. This is the first significant change to BHS’ visual identity since the company was purchased in 1999.

“From our recent relocation to recent advances in our service-related technologies, BHS is experiencing a significant amount of growth and change. We are evolving as a company. Our new logo reflects that,” said Dawn Motovidlak, BHS president and CEO.

The new logo draws on the legacy of the previous one, employing BHS’ hallmark “spinner” symbol as the core of the company’s relic: a propeller. The propeller symbolizes BHS’ focus on forward motion and the behavior modification approach taken towards advancing health, well-being and productivity in the workplace. The petal-like shapes previously used to represent the propeller’s blades are replaced by two bold, fluid lines. The BHS logotype has also been refined to provide a more contemporary look, and appears without the tagline Solutions for a Healthier Workplace^SM.

“The new logo is a streamlined look designed to be a modern reflection of the BHS brand. It represents the fusion of stability, function and innovation – that same fusion is the core component of BHS’ corporate outlook,” stated Lesley Miller, BHS Executive Vice President of Business Development.

BHS will transition to the refined logo throughout the next year, with first appearances visible today on print publications and the BHSSolutions.com web site. New service-based technologies are scheduled to launch in late 2012 and will carry the new look.
