PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 31, 2012 - International Research Networks (IRN) has confirmed this week that the inaugural Balkans Oil and Gas Summit, taking place from 26-28 September 2012 in Athens, has received outstanding endorsement and support from five of the region’s key ministries. The Summit will be held under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change, with further endorsement from the Federal Ministry of Energy, and Mining Industry of Bosnia-Herzegovina; the Albanian Ministry of Economy, Trade and Energy; the Montenegrin Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Construction and Physical Planning, Croatia.

CEO of IRN, Ben Hillary, commented, “The Balkans has such a promising future in the energy market and this support, at such a high governmental level, highlights the importance of the Summit for the region. We are delighted to be working with so many of the ministries to help determine the future of European energy”.
