The NW™ Narrow Web Tension Transducer is a robust cantilevered tension-sensing idler roll for narrow web applications. The Size 0 NW Transducer with a 2.25” roll diameter is the ideal tension sensing device for lighter tag and label applications that may not require the muscle of the size 1 (3” diameter roll) or size 2 (3.5” diameter roll) NW Transducers.
Pictured is a Narrow Web transducer with an optional built-in LED tension display and a 0-to-10Vdc output. The meter display option is perfect for conserving space on a cantilevered narrow web press.
The EasyView™ tension indicator is a space-saving, cost-saving readout module that connects to a tension transducer (or transducer pair) and displays tension on a digital or analog display. It puts out an isolated 0-to-10 Vdc web tension signal for use by a PLC, drive or other control electronics.
The SteadyWeb 5™ tension controller is a feature-packed, easy-to-use closed-loop tension controller with a back-lit, color graphic user interface. Panel mount and full-enclosure versions are available.
