The Palm City company is now manufacturing top quality fiberglass battery boxes designed for the Northstar 210 and Northstar 130 batteries and the Odyssey PC1800. Due to the efficiency of the manufacturing process, the top-quality battery boxes are for sale at wholesale prices to the public.
Each battery box is designed to hold two batteries side by side and is constructed of hand laid fiberglass using the highest grade Isophthalic Polyester Resin. The boxes meet all Coast Guard specifications. Battery leads are accessible from four different directions insuring easy installation of wiring. The bottom of the battery is supported by three recessed mounting legs and provides secure recessed anchoring of the battery box to subfloors. Superior ventilation ensures that the battery remains cool while charging and discharging.
The marine division of Northstar batteries originally approached Maran Marine with a request to design and build a fiberglass battery box exclusively for their model 210 and 130 Northstar batteries. Today, the battery boxes are used by companies such as Trinity Yachts, one of the world's elite builders of custom super yachts.
