The Stone of Blood
In the late 15th century along the coastal waters of France, a beautiful maiden with golden blonde hair and eyes of emerald green was murdered at the hands of her own people because of a spell cast upon her by a jealous queen.
The young maiden’s spirit was bound to a blood stone pulled from her ashes, and all those who were witness to the flames and fire were cursed to walk upon the earth as part man and part beast until the day she is set free. As the centuries passed, an Order was formed. The Christian Order was bound by the curse to guard the stone until the maiden’s spirit would be free once again. But there were those within the Order who did not share this belief and sought to usurp the stone for themselves, for to them the blood stone held everlasting life.
As the Reign of Terror came to France, the very foundation of the Order was broken and the stone of blood was lost. For over 100 years the blood stone’s light went out upon the world and whispers of a prophecy were spoken. A child would be born who would take up the stone at the dawning of a New Age … an age of the Order of the Wolf.
