The weekend started with a dynamic performance by Go Fish, who rocked the stage with their uplifting Christian music harmonies in front of over 1000 people in attendance.
Children were invited to attend the Go Fish dance class previous to the concert, and a drawing was held to select ten children to join Go Fish on stage during the concert. Visitors of all ages danced, sang and raised their hands in praise as the celebrated family entertainers of Go Fish shared their upbeat rhythms not only on stage, but from out in the audience as well. Following an explosion of confetti that ended the concert, the members of Go Fish met with children and parents to say hello and to sign autographs.
In addition to a featured performance by Go Fish, the weekend was filled with various other family-friendly activities. Parents and children alike were encouraged to Tie-Dye a FAITH T-Shirt, get their face painted with a unique design, compete in the fishing derby or join in on a group hike. Visitors were also able to purchase items from vendors at the weekend event and enjoy treats such as kettle korn, roasted corn and ice cream.
“We would like to thank everyone for coming out, especially the members of Go Fish and all of the volunteers for their hard work” said Gwyn Wathen of Palmer Gulch. “The entire weekend was amazing and we fully plan on doing it again next year!”
