Capital K9s 6th Annual Dog Paddle - Sept 9, 2012

Aug. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- For this event Goodman Pool closes to the public and for one amazing day will be open only to our canine friends. Watch as dogs vie for farthest jump, fastest retrieve, and biggest splash. There will be additional contests, prizes, and more. All proceeds from this unique event will benefit the Madison Police Department’s K9 Unit, which means a safer community for all of us.  This year’s event is proudly sponsored by Animart and Mounds Pet Food Warehouse.

Formed in 2004, Capital K9s is a non-profit organization that supports the Madison Police Department K9 Unit through fundraising efforts and is comprised of area volunteers.  A patrol K9 Unit increases departmental efficiency, while enhancing the safety of both officers and the community.
