Community Story Telling Made Visual Through New Web Series

Aug. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- The Next Shot? is a web series created by two independent filmmakers who were fans of various audience interactive web series such Jeanna Marbles and Epic Rap battles of history.  Developing a series of webisodes helped combat the feeling of being tired of chasing the traditional means of movie making.  

The interactive web series works like this:

Content creators produce a 5 minute webisode, post it online for the audience to interact with, solicit story ideas and direction from their viewers for the web series, then write and produce a new webisode.

The beauty with The Next Shot? web series is, though there are polls for people to vote on, there is also opportunity for viewers to make personal suggestions, develop future characters, and offer alternative endings.

The team behind The Next Shot? understands that everyday more entertainment content is being presented on line. And through this audience interactive platform, viewers  get to share in the experience by truly being part of the story as they watch their ideas and concepts come to life visually.

This type of community story telling is reaching many demographics.  Teens like the quick spurts of online entertainment, adults enjoy the sophisticated story plots, gamers have connected with the fan fiction concepts, while writers and filmmakers enjoy the fresh and new innovative ideas of delivering content.

The Next Shot? is currently finishing up their crime noir series and are beginning to develop both a zombie and comedy series.
