Here We Grow Preschool Opens in Williamsburg Village
LINCOLN, Neb. – A new preschool is now open in Hampton’s Williamsburg Village. Here We Grow Preschool, 3600 Village Drive, Ste. 130, is owned by Mandy Spohn, who is ready to welcome students.
“Here We Grow Preschool believes in providing a safe, caring environment to foster engagement, development, inquiry, and a love of school in our early childhood community.” said Spohn, an Alliance, Neb., native who earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in elementary education with a focus on deaf and hard of hearing education. She then went on to receive a master’s degree at UNL in deaf and hard of hearing education with an early childhood endorsement. Spohn taught locally for five years, four of those years in early childhood education.
Spohn said her husband Todd Spohn was an integral part of launching the preschool. “His business knowledge paired with my background in education truly made this venture a reality,” she said.
The couple chose Williamsburg Village because of its convenient, well-known location, the generous classroom space, and nearby grassy areas for outdoor play.
