Since the inception of the concert four years ago, Kids Rock has donated over $30,000 to New Eyes to purchase new glasses for children. With the money raised by these dedicated young musicians, 680 disadvantaged children in the United States now have access to better vision through new prescription eyeglasses. Special thanks for this year’s success goes to students Will Taggart , Andrew McGann and George Psichos, all of Summit, NJ, for their time and energy in organizing the concert and to School of Rock Chatham, NJ for their fourth year of generous sponsorship.
Since 1932, New Eyes has improved the vision of over 7.5 million poor people through its U.S. new eyeglasses program and its overseas used eyeglasses recycling program. Learn more about New Eyes on Facebook at http://facebook.com/
