Accademia Gallery in Florence, Italy: open by Night

Aug. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- The Accademia Gallery in Florence, home of Michelangelo’s David, will remain open until 10:00 pm every Tuesday and Thursday (with free entrance), until September 30, 2012. The nights at the Gallery will be animated by the performance Work n. 860 Runners by Martin Creed, previously performed at the Tate Modern in London, which provides that some runners cimentino on shots and sprinting between the works, to represent the relationship you have with those who visit the museum.
During this period, the museum will host "Art back Art" exhibition that brings together over forty works of thirty contemporary artists, and the Department of Musical Instruments, which includes instruments and bows of the Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini.
