"We are very pleased to extend our agreement with Sprint on behalf of our membership,"
MiCTA originally awarded Sprint a two-year master service agreement in July 2010 through its competitive bidding process, which is designed to evaluate technology-oriented and telecommunications solutions for the benefit of its members nationwide. Under the master service agreement, MiCTA members may purchase telecommunications and technology products and services at volume discounts using the MiCTA master service agreement. Besides reducing the overall cost of technology and telecommunications purchases, the MiCTA master service agreement also enables its members to streamline their internal purchasing processes.
"Sprint is proud to continue to have our products and services on the MiCTA contract, providing a simple procurement vehicle for Education, Healthcare and other MiCTA member organizations to purchase Sprint products and services at pre-negotiated prices," said Kimberly Green-Kerr, Sprint Regional Vice President, Business Sales, Midwest.
