Isao Tomita’s new piece "Ihatov Symphony", which expresses the world of Kenji Miyazawa’s novel, will be performed by Japan Philharmonic Orchestra with a conductor Naoto Otomo. Miku will appear on stage as 3D image and sing and dance in time to music.

About Isao Tomita
Isao Tomita, known simply as Tomita, is a Japanese music composer, regarded as one of the pioneers of electronic music and famous producers of analog synthesizer. With his album “Snowflakes are Dancing”, he was nominated for 4 Grammys in 1974 and became the first Japanese to be recognized at the award ceremony. He composed main theme of Osamu Tezuka's "Kimba the White Lion" , "Princess Knight" as well.

Miku is a virtual singer who can sing any song that anybody composes. She was born as computer music software developed by Crypton Future Media Inc. that enables users to create synthesized singing. Since then many creators have composed songs with Hatsune Miku software and uploaded their works on video sharing sites. Through social media her music has been spread to the world and her first oversea 3D concert at Nokia Theatre in LA on July 2nd 2011 was sold-out in 2 days.
