International & National Emerging Men’s Designer Contest

Aug. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Fashion Week Las Vegas (FWLV), Las Vegas’s most comprehensive semi-annual fashion event, is looking for  international & national emerging designers, with at least one year minimum of experience in designing Men’s Fashion to enter the FWLV Men’s Collective Competition. Contestants must register and submit five to six finished images of their looks on models by September 10, 2012.
At least three designers will be chosen as semi- finalists for each category by a panel of judges.  Once notified, semi- finalists will have the opportunity to show case their 5 - 6 looks on November 3, 2012 in Las Vegas at FWLV Emerging Designer Competition.  One designer from each category will be selected to be a guest designer at Fashion Week Las Vegas during February 8th -15th.  The selected designers will participate in the Collective Men’s Designer runway show. The package will include roundtrip airfare as well as hotel accommodations for the designer and one guest.
The winners will be featured at Fashion Week Las Vegas 2013 where one designer will be selected as our grand prize winner, an exclusive cover shoot for International and National fashion publications for an editorial feature in Fashion Couture Magazine & Shimmer Magazine fashion publications that will highlight Fashion Week Las Vegas in the spring 2013 issue.  The winner will also receive two VIP tickets for the week, professional photographs of their runway show. Fashion Week Las Vegas is an 8 day (February 8th -15th) celebration of the international, national, and local fashion design community.  The semiannual event coincides with WWD Magic and has created all programming for evening show times to make it possible for buyers, media and press to attend the private runway shows nightly.  FWLV is working in conjunction with “Fashion for a Cause Foundation” and special programing will be made available on line for all nightly fund raising events and after parties.
