Renowned Contemporary Artist Jeanne Bessette to Hold Painting Workshop in New Hope

Aug. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Take this opportunity now to work with an artist on the rise. Contemporary artist Jeanne Bessette will be visiting Bucks County while participating in the New Hope Arts Festival and has scheduled a two day painting workshop October 1 & 2 from 9-5pm.  The class will introduce you to Jeanne’s technique, while empowering your personal artistic voice. Bessette is best known for her large scale paintings of emotive abstracted figures
that combine subtle layers, luminescent glaze and bold freehand scribbles. What’s most striking is her ability to harness a childhood vision and translate it into a mature concept. Her use of pungent color and contrast creates memorable pieces that allow for unique experiences upon every viewing. “In the end, my work is about a strong desire to connect with others in hopes of inspiring, comforting or awakening” explains Bessette.
It has also been a special year as Bessette has been named one of the “Top 50 Emerging Artists,” by artBusiness News magazine. The Workshop will run $500 for the two days (or sign up with a friend 2/$800) and will take place at a private studio with off street parking available.
