FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 30, 2012 - The Heat Beads® Company (http://www.heatbeads.com.au/) is proud to be supporting the local foodie community at the Markets of Melbourne 400 Festival event – celebrating 400 collective years of Melbourne’s markets.

Held in Federation Square on 31 August 2012, the 400-themed event will run from 2:00pm-8:40pm (400 minutes) and will see local stallholders give away 400 of their most popular market items including pesto stuffed mushrooms, fresh fruit and delicious BBQ fare (http://www.heatbeads.com.au/bbq-recipes/) cooked over Heat Beads® BBQ Briquettes.

Special guests include players from the Melbourne Rebels, The Voice contestant Sam Ludeman, Australian Junior Cricketer Alex Keath and top chefs Ian Curley (The European), Justin Wise (The Point) and Tony Twitchett (Taxi Dining Room). Visitors are invited to come down to meet the celebrities, take photos and enjoy delicious local food.

You can also expect a showcase of artisan coffee and cheeses, organic produce and freshly baked goods for sale.

Markets of Melbourne have teamed up with Mission Australia to help promote the message that healthy eating in childhood begins a life of good health. All gold coin donations from the event will go towards promoting this cause at Mission Australia’s Early Learning Centres.
