“I am excited about the opportunity to work for a company with a culture, values, and a mission I support,” said Tarpley. “My grandmother had Alzheimer’s for about 20 years, and I understand the type of quality care our residents need. I am committed to using innovative ways to attract talented, compassionate caregivers to our home-like communities.”
Tarpley is developing a strategy to decentralize human resources services, incorporate
social media in recruiting practices and attract passionate caregivers at the college level. She has expert knowledge of the Dallas market, and the employment trends in the regions where she staffs Autumn Leaves communities, including Dallas, Fort Worth, Tulsa, Chicagoland, Houston, and Atlanta.
“We face challenges that are different than a lot of other businesses these days,” said Tarpley. “Instead of downsizing, our company is growing. We need to identify and source candidates to pull in qualified people quickly. I enjoy that aspect, and I find great satisfaction in coaching our managers and employees.”
Tarpley joins Constant Care Family Management from Orthofix Inc. where she worked for more than 11 years, serving most recently as human resources vice president. Tarpley earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Texas State University, and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
Chad Anderson, president of Constant Care Family Management, announced Tarpley’s addition to the team.
“Sherrie has an impressive background in the field of human resources,” said Anderson. “She has a true passion for our residents, our mission, and our employees. We are thrilled to have her lead our efforts to recruit and retain knowledgeable, compassionate employees.”
