His role will bring GMM’s Foundations services to commercial, institutional, and governmental clients in the eastern part of the state. Mr. Pease comes to GMM from Hayward Baker where he served as a Senior Project Manager. His experience includes geotechnical engineering and consulting, with extensive experience as a sinkhole specialist. A graduate of the State University of New York at Syracuse University, he holds a BS in civil engineering, and is a licensed Professional Engineer. GMM’s Foundations division serves clients throughout the Northeast with quality specialty foundations, ensuring project completion in a timely, cost-effective, and safe manner. For over 50 years, the company has been providing construction for a wide spectrum of projects, including those for athletic, educational, commercial, water-treatment, industrial, and power-generation/ The addition of more offices was a direct response to the demand for specialized construction and foundation work throughout the northeastern corridor and the mid-Atlantic region. Mr. Pease joins Russell T. Kohler, P.E., Regional Manager for GMM’s Foundations division, in bringing the firm’s foundations services to a broader service area within the state and beyond. Foundations services currently offered by GMM include anchors and tiebacks, tiedowns, caissons, driven piling, foundation grouting, marine constructions, micropiles, retaining walls, rock and soil nailing, soldier piles/lagging, secant pile walls, tangent pile walls, compaction grouting, sheet piles, and design-construct services. Recent foundation projects include the I-70/I-79 southern interchange reconstruction in Washington, PA; Mt. Lebanon High School in Mt. Lebanon, PA; the Blue Mountain interchange reconstruction in Newburg, PA; and the Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg, PA. Founded in 1951, GMM is an established organization that offers exemplary service in all phases of industrial, commercial, and educational construction.
