This "dumbing" down of our society has resulted in a false sense of true revolutionary ideas, and philosophies which result from real struggle, challenges, and tribulations, instead more so focused on vanity, versus substance.
Success happens to fall into that category, and I'm not referring to simply "money," but everything within the life structure of all human beings. If you're in a relationship with someone your ultimate goal should be to have a successful relationship, not by shaping your significant other into what you perceive is beneficial towards your needs, and desires, but to empower your partner, or spouse by emphasizing, and enhancing their gifts, and strong characteristics, while minimizing what may seem offensive to your mind, and what you interpret as "flaws."
The same will apply in raising children, operating a business, and everything else in between. We are where success begins, and where success is determined, not someone else.
Every time you look into the mirror, you're not simply looking at the image of a person, instead you're looking at the image, and characteristics of our creator, "God."
Whatever your interpretation of "God" may be, all of us have been embedded with a desire to "win" and "succeed" that drives people the world over on a daily basis. What we do with that God given desire is totally up to us, and not dependent upon any other outside source, or influence.
Let's use business as an excellent example of what a successful business owner implements within their business on a daily basis.
1) Vision - A successful business owner has a "vision" for where they desire their business to be, and it's generally based upon "serving" the needs of their customer base, while enhancing their experience.
2) Flexibility - A successful business owner is certain to be flexible in servicing their customer base due to the constant change in life circumstances, and paradigms.
3) Encouraging - A successful business owner encourages everyone around them to seek solutions, and ponder upon results.
