The Academy of Combat Application Techniques in Fort Worth Texas is celebrating its one year anniversary and grand reopening at its new location with new deals and new programs. New programs now include Brazilian Jujitsu and Muay Thai Boxing.

PRLog - Aug. 26, 2012 - The Academy of Combat Application Techniques, first opened its doors at 5840 C Jacksboro Highway in Fort Worth. Their list of classes included Children's Martial Arts, Mixed Martial Arts and Military Combatives. A lot has changed in the last 12 months at The Academy of Combat; as it is now dubbed. There are no longer children's martial arts classes and the location has changed as well. Along with the new location came a whole new look. The training center still offers Mixed Martial Arts and Combatives; but also now offers training in Thai Kickboxing, Brazilian Jujitsu, American Red Cross First Aid and Tactical Shooting for Self Defense.

The new look includes a new 500 square foot  open mat space, pull up bars, state of the art total body vibration machines, an eliptical machine, new pads, gear training dummies and a custiom made fully enclosed Mixed Martial Arts Cage created by "Kagepanel". What was once classified as a martial arts "Dojo" can now be best described as a full service combat arts training center. Trainees of the MMA program also enjoy the added benefit of an overall health and fitness assessment which includes height, weight and body composition measurments, as well as fitness consultations.

September marks the one year anniversary for the business. The one year anniversary will be celebrated by the start of new programs such as a Brazilian Jujitsu and Muay Thai class. They begin the month celebration on September first with a Women's Awareness and Self Protection Clinic (W.A.S.P.). Then from September to Christmas The Academy of Combat will be offering deals, such as the purchase of two months of training in Brazilian Jujitsu or Muay Thai will get one month free of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) classes. When someone pays up front for two months of MMA classes they can get one month free. They will also be running a program on Facebook where potential members can pay for 3 months for only $200 when they present a coupon or chit, that can be printed directly from their facebook page.
