(West Palm Beach, FL – August 23, 2012) Fatima NeJame, president and chief executive officer of the world-renowned Palm Beach Photographic Centre (PBPC), today announced that seasoned business entrepreneur Lawrence I. Sosnow has joined the Board of Directors of the nonprofit museum. PBPC provides instruction in more than 300 workshops a year to students all over the U.S., reflecting the booming interest in digital photography.
“Mr. Sosnow will bring both strength and creativity to the Photo Centre’s Board as we continue to expand to meet the growing professional and hobby interests of students in digital arts,” said Ms. NeJame.
A highly respected start-up entrepreneur, Mr. Sosnow recently exited SeniorBridge Family Services, Inc., a company he founded in 2000 and where he served as Chairman until its acquisition in July of this year by Humana, Inc. (NYSE:HUM).
Previously, Mr. Sosnow had been a co-founder and former Vice Chairman of athenahealth, inc. (NASDAQ:ATHN)
