Atlantic Consulting travels to Springfield, IL

Aug. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Recently Atlantic Consulting has been meeting with clients in Illinois' capital, Springfield. This past week Atlantic Consulting has sent eight of its representatives down to the state's capital for the week. Account executives have found this change of scenery quite different from the hustle and bustle of city life in Chicago.

Business trips allow account executives to experience different territories and meet with new clients. They also provide a change from the day-to-day routine at the office in Chicago. The Springfield business trip has been quite successful. Atlantic Consulting has acquired many new accounts for their client.

Account executives have participated in various team building activities while in Springfield as well. Select representatives also got to tour the state's capital today. Springfield is historically significant in Illinois because it is the home of former President, Abraham Lincoln. Memorable sights in Springfield included Lincoln's tomb as well as the Lincoln memorial. Another memorable moment from the business trip to Springfield was eating horseshoe sandwiches, which were originated in Springfield. This open faced sandwich consists of thick-sliced toasted bread, meat, french fries, and topped with cheese sauce.

Overall Atlantic Consulting's trip to Springfield has been a profitable and successful experience. They hope to continue to meet with clients in various cities in Illinois in the future!
