DETAILS:
Over the past few years, Twitter has emerged as a valuable tool for the HR professional in identifying and engaging candidates, easily sharing their job postings and maintaining communications with current employees.  Still, many HR professionals are unsure how to use this medium to its full advantage.

During this session, Bryan Wempen, chief strategy officer of PeopleClues, joins Dustin Haverkamp, HRIS analyst for Prairie Band Casino & Resort, to discuss how organizations can apply Twitter to their HR practices. Attendees of this session will gain a better understanding of Twitter and how they can include the social network in their daily roles.

The session also provides participants with one general PHR/SPHR recertification credit.  HR professionals attending the Kansas State SHRM Conference who wish to learn how they can leverage Twitter to improve their daily operations are encouraged to attend this informative session.

Wempen will also join PeopleClues Client Relations manager, Cathleen Carlos, on the conference’s social media team. Attendees are encouraged to visit the Kansas State SHRM Social Media Orb, located in the Exhibit Hall, where they can charge up their mobile devices, view live tweets from the conference, network, and learn more about social media.
