Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior webinar: Fruved!! A CBPR Social Marketing Campaign

The Society of Nutrition Education and Behavior (SNEB) is hosting “Fruved!! The Development of a CBPR Social Marketing Campaign,” a live webinar on Thursday, September 20 from 2 – 3 p.m. EST sponsored by the SNEB Social Marketing Division.

 
PRLog - Aug. 24, 2012 - The Society of Nutrition Education and Behavior (SNEB) is hosting “Fruved!! The Development of a CBPR Social Marketing Campaign,” a live webinar on Thursday, September 20 from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. EST. Sponsored by the SNEB Social Marketing Division, this webinar will review the development, implementation, and evaluation of a successful social marketing campaign designed for one college campus. The presentation will describe how a community based participatory research (CBPR) approach improved the development and effectiveness of the campaign.

Presenting during the webinar is Sarah Colby, PhD, RD, Assistant Professor at The University of Tennessee.  During the webinar, Dr. Colby will discuss how CBPR can be used in developing a social marketing campaign, the benefits of using CBPR in developing a social marketing campaign, the most effective social marketing strategies used in the FRUVED campaign and the mechanisms that can be used to evaluate a social marketing campaign.

This webinar is free for members of SNEB. ASNNA members receive a discounted registration of $10. Non-member attendees are $25. Attendees will earn 1 CPEs from the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Register at http://www.sneb.org/events/events.html.
