“Magic-Paks work great and come in a wide variety of different energy options, but like any other HVAC unit, they need to be looked at in order to keep them in optimum shape,” Jim Rognile, owner of Golden Valley-based Building Maintenance Management (BMM) said.
Rognile said his company has the skills and tools necessary to maintain these units, including cleaning the internal coils that help to power the air conditioning unit, as well as a combing of its fin tubing. BMM also cleans out the condensate pan and drain lines, and will change the unit’s filters if necessary.
“All this is done, so we can be sure that the unit will remain in optimum condition for a long time to come,” Rognile said. “HVAC units are not cheap, and properties need to do whatever they can to make sure they remain in pristine condition.”
