Aug. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Laguna Hills, California, (August 24, 2012) –¬ Organizations in Orange County are inspired by joining in with OC Wildlife & Beach Tour in the “Every Monday Matters Movement” to help keep the earth and oceans clean. Every Monday people are pitching in to pick up at least 2 pieces of trash or more and encouraging others to get involved to help make a difference.

Some of the organizations already involved are the Pacific Marine Mammal Center, Microsoft Store in Mission Viejo, the Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau and more.  “It’s so easy,” says Cheri Ikerd, President of OC Wildlife & Beach Tour. “Anyone can pick up 2 pieces of trash, while walking their dog, going out for a run or a stroll in their neighborhood.”  The idea is that we can keep our cities and beaches much cleaner if we get in the habit of picking up a few pieces of trash everyday, or whenever we come across it in our daily activities.
