Lexington KY First Responders and Veterans Invited to Saddle Up on Sept. 8

Horses4Heroes' is holding a Hero Appreciation Day open house for First Responders, veterans and their families at Stable Meadows on Sept. 8.
 
Aug. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Horses4Heroes, one of the most successful equestrian support groups for the military is riding into Lexington, Saturday, Sept. 8 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. with a special open house for law enforcement officers, fire fighters/EMTs, military personnel, veterans and their families.  The event, Hero Appreciation Day 2012, is being held at Stable Meadows, 2590 Jacks Creek Pike, Lexington.  Owner Angela Spiers said:  “This is a great opportunity for our local heroes and their families to come out and enjoy a fun-filled day of horseback riding, demonstrations, refreshments, games and special surprises." The event is free and open to any First Responder, service member, or veteran.
