WildBlue Aircraft Sales to Sponsor Challenge Air for Kids and Families

Aug. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Challenge Air is an organization that builds self-esteem and confidence of children and youth with special needs, through the experience of flight.  With a network of nearly 3,500 volunteers nationwide, volunteers serve as pilots, ground crew, fundraisers, planning committee members and in numerous other capacities. Its mission is to provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to special needs children and youth through the gift of flight.

“Kids and aviation were meant to go together,” said Chris Kirk, owner of WildBlue.  “Supporting children and youth with special needs through the wonder of flight really demonstrates the giving nature of the General Aviation community.  As Kansas City natives we’re also very proud of the support our local businesses and citizens are providing.”

In addition to financial support, the WildBlue team will serve Challenge Air families throughout the day’s events.
