Joyce Maruniak, Advance Auto Parts
Joyce Maruniak, vice president of supply chain development, is overseeing the design and implementation of a new distribution network strategy for the automotive aftermarket retailer. She states, “The strategy development included an evaluation of what type of service we wanted to provide, what we wanted the infrastructure to look like, what the facilities should do, and what they should look like internally. We redesigned operations within the facilities and also went through optimization and simulation modeling, looking at various business scenarios.”
Jeff Reagan, MSC Industrial Supply
Jeff Reagan, vice president of supply chain engineering, led the team that drove the CFC (Customer Fulfillment Center) optimization strategy at MSC. He describes these efforts as the largest investment in the company's history that transformed the way they service the customer. “Through that set of implementations, MSC created a paradigm shift within our existing operations that has translated to tremendous bottom-line savings for the company and improved our customer service,” he states.
Fortna is proud that our clients’ accomplishments have been recognized by DC Velocity. Congratulations to Joyce and Jeff!
