Piron's Cricket Tournament, 2012

Aug. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Saturday 18th August 2012, the cricket tournament was felicitated by our honorable Mr. Ashish Aggarwal (One of the Directors of Piron Group). The whole Piron was divided into four teams; top four authorities were leading from the front.

Starting off with the first match of the Tournament 'The Lions' won the toss against 'The Warriors' and elected to bat first. Team batting first scored 120 runs in 15 overs. In respond, The Warriors scored 118 runs and lost the match on the edge by 3 runs.

In the second match of the day, The Spartans scored 102 runs in 15 overs. In respond The Rebellions managed to score only 90 runs and victory comprehensively went onto The Spartans.

“Cricket is a game of uncertainty”. However, the uncertainty of this game produced smile on many faces. The game of cricket vanished a state of depression when this tournament took place. There were some hilarious as well as nail biting moments when all the four teams appeared for the trophy decisive clashes.

The tournament started off with excitement. All the players were requested to wear common colour     t-shirt representing their teams. The aim behind organizing the cricket tournament was to give some cheerful moments and build up the essence of team work among the employees. The ground was crowded with players, audience and best part was to capture the presence of female employees cheering up the on field players. Piron's big guns were also participating in this cricket tournament.

Now, we are all set for the thrilling final match between The Spartans & the Lions. Both the teams are in good touch and we are hoping to witness a nail-biting match once again on 8th September, 2012.
