The full menu of custom fragrances for fall is available at the site's master scent list page: http://www.sugarworksbathandbody.com/
The shop's centerpiece for the fall collection of scents is the Tricks collection, a series of Halloween-inspired fragrances with lighthearted spooky themes. Among the scents on offer are Memento Mori, a blend of harvest fruits with carnations and cassia, and Living Dead Girl, a sweetly feminine pink bubblegum and berry scent. One of the shop's perennial favorites, Can't Sleep – Clowns Will Eat Me, returns for the season, as does Carnival of Doom with its candy corn fragrance notes.
Five Sugar Works contest winners are also featured in the Tricks section. An August contest invited customers to design their own custom scents for sugar scrubs and perfumes. The winners' scents include Erin's Black Magic, Hannah's Screamin' Tangerine and Medusa's Lure. Each winner gets a full-sized bath and body product of her choice from the shop, but the scents are available for everyone to buy.
In addition to the lighter themes of the Tricks collection is a selection of scents inspired by Voodoo in New Orleans. Halloween marks a major celebration for Voodoo practitioners as well as a rich source of inspiration for Sugar Works' scent designer. With a blend of spice, floral and gourmand notes, these complex scents are designed to appeal to perfume collectors who seek something unusual, yet alluring for their vanity shelves.
Because the e-commerce shop has an international clientele, Halloween is only a part of the fall scents the perfumer has created to celebrate the season. The Treats selection is richly gourmand and pays homage to traditional autumn treats such as the season's fresh apples, kettle corn and milk punch with rum and spices. These food-like scents are designed to layer well with other fragrances as hand lotions and body oils as well as scented sugar scrubs that leave a light trace of fragrance on the skin.
The collectible sugar scrub cauldron scents are distinct from the other fragrances for fall. They are not for sale, but are free with every sufficiently large purchase from the shop. With tasty scents and humorous names like Swamp Witch, Night of the Lepus and Six Feet Under, they carry out the fun and festive Halloween theme.
Special layered sugar scrub creations for fall are also featured on the site's holiday pages. The Dancing Dead, a parfait-like concoction of five fruit-scented sugar scrubs, is the highlight of the seasonal specials. Weighing in at over 20 ounces, it's also Sugar Works' largest sugar scrub.
For customers who want to buy their favorite fragrances in any season, the regular assortment of scents remains available and has even expanded. Gilded Butterfly and Kitten Cream combine the scent designer's trademark gourmand notes with more traditional perfume accords to create memorable custom scents for an array of bath and body products.
The fall scent collection at Sugar Works Bath & Body will be available through late October. For more information, please visit http://sugarworksbathandbody.com for details.
