Australia's NewSat Ltd attending the China Satellite Conference

Aug. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- NewSat Ltd, Australia's leading independent satellite communications specialist, will be attending the annual China Satellite Conference 2012 in Beijing, to be held at the Hotel Nikko New Century, from September 19 to 21. The event will draw attendees to a unique networking and business opportunity, in what is the largest conference in China. Key organizations, scientists, equipment suppliers, satellite hardware manufactures, along with business leaders and Chinese policy makers will also be in Beijing for the event.

Peter Sim will represent NewSat at the conference as the Australian company sets its sights on launching the country's first commercial Ka Band satellite by 2014. The Jabiru 1, under construction in partnership with Lockheed Martin, will deliver high-powered Ka band coverage in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
