As the fourth in the series, the event focuses on the varied life journeys of British women of colour on their route to success. This edition sees 2008 Laurence Olivier award winning playwright; Bola Agbaje, Sky News world anchor Lukwesa Burak, CNN digital producer; Stephanie Busari, global luxury brand; Dolce & Gabbana’s head of London press showroom and UK celebrity PR; Ruth Butah, former communication director of Operation Black Vote and ex-editor of The Voice newspaper; Winsome Cornish MBE and double Brit award and 2002 Mercury Music Prize winner; Ms Dynamite. The event has seen women such as Bonnie Greer OBE, Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock MBE, Hope Powell CBE, Charlene White, Brenda Emmanus, Dr Uchenna Okoye, Angela Ferreira and many more inspirational British women who have carved out their success against a backdrop of obstacles and deterrents that have challenged them, but not stopped them defining success on their own terms. Having celebrated a year of the I’mPOSSIBLE conversation in June, founder; Simone Bresi-Ando commented: “My career has been devoted to presenting stories to the world which either go unheard or are alternative to the status quo.
