PRLog - Aug. 22, 2012 - PORTLAND, Ore. -- River City Rhythm is an exciting, weekly, thirty-minute live streaming concert series for all music lovers, especially jazz and blues aficionados. This show is being touted as the blues version of Bandstand. For thirteen weeks and the premiere, our show will highlight a specific jazz or blues artist from the Pacific Northwest. Portland, Oregon is becoming THE place for jazz and blues artists to live and play. Already backed by some of the largest Blues and Jazz artists in the country. Artists like Kevin Selfe and the Tornadoes, Sonny Hess, Lisa Mann and her Really good Band, Opus, PSU Professor Farnell Newton, Duffy Bishop, Too Slim and the Taildraggers, Joe McMurrian of Woodbrain and World re-knowned drummer Jimi Bott to name a few. Many artists are eagerly awaiting our first show and already support this project, The focus on jazz and blues music will give the show a different flavor than just the ordinary music shows. The venues will get worldwide exposure along with the artists. This is a true win-win- project. We can’t do this alone so please help us fund our Kickstarter project at www.kickstarter.com/
Today anyone with an Internet connection can broadcast live events and share them with an audience of any number anywhere on most devices. You can tune in from anywhere.
