In a recent interview with Artistic Manifesto, Reesa Renee states "When I’m on stage, I can feed off my energy and jump around. I can do whatever I want. In the studio, you can’t do that. You gotta give listeners format, structure, organization. Not that you don’t have a format on stage, but in the studio you gotta make sure it’s digestible. I had to take all my OCD moments and bring them into the studio, to connect with my listener. I wouldn’t say live is more fun, but there’s a lot more energy, whereas the studio gives me a lot more time to perfect my craft, to the nth degree. In the studio it’s more free."
Tickets for the event are $17 and may be purchased in advance at LiveNation.com. The concert is sponsored by ILM Solutions. Advanced copies of "Reelease" available for purchase at The Fillmore. Following the concert join Reesa Renee at Lotus Lounge 1420 K St. NW, WDC for the official concert after party hosted by DT Nation.
