AlphaOne, Amritsar hosted the Cross-Cultural Dance, ‘Sanskriti Sangam’, performed by Samarian Group from Ahmadabad, led by Ms. Neha Parvia and organized by Stalwart High School to mark the culmination of the Independence Week’s celebrations. There was a special book launch of ‘Transforming Indians to Transform India’, by Chinmaya Mission, Amritsar and Bhawans School on August 18, 2012.
The Chinmaya Mission Book launch activity was attended by over 150 dignitaries and members of Chinmaya Mission. Over 50 students of Bhawans School also attended the event. In the evening, there was a scintillating performance of Mewasi Tribal Dance and Prachin Garba performance, along with Punjabi folk dance as part of the Cross Cultural performance by Samarpan Group, Ahmedabad. The dance troupe consisting of 40 child artists from Gujarat and Punjab led by Ms. Neha Parvia performed at the central atrium and left the audience spellbound.

On August 21st, the Star Cast of the forthcoming Punjabi movie, ‘Yaar Pardesi’, Claudia Ciesla, Vandana Sharma, Bindu Dillon, BN Sharma, visited the sprawling AlphaOne to promote their forthcoming release among vast audiences. AlphaOne has the appropriate tagline, ‘Ithhe aao happy ho jao …Be here be happy!’
