Donation Target for NSPCC Edges Closer

After its latest round of charity fundraising for NSPCC, SiteVisibility continues to demonstrate its commitment to good causes.

Aug. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- Leading digital marketing agency, SiteVisibility, has reached £540 of this year’s  £1600 fundraising target for its chosen charity, the NSPCC.  In its latest round of charity fundraising, SiteVisibility’s own customers helped  raise £230 by completing the Agency’s quarterly client satisfaction survey.

In addition to this, SiteVisibility also arranged a charity five-a-side football tournament for digital businesses throughout Brighton and its surrounding areas. Each team had to pay a £30 entry fee which went towards SiteVisibility’s target. This meant that in July alone £420 was raised for the NSPCC.

As well as the financial benefit for NSPCC, charity fundraising  also helps SiteVisibility to achieve its own business objectives. For example, the Search Agency works hard to understand and pre-empt customer feedback;  with the quarterly customer surveys prompting answers to  questions such as ‘do you think you get good value for money?’, ‘how quickly do we respond to your queries?’, and ‘how do you rate us out of five on relationship?’ . The whole team is incentivised and rewarded based on their clients’ satisfaction levels and the charity incentive helped to increase the survey response rate by 65%.

SiteVisibility CEO Jason Woodford is a member of the South East Leadership Team of Business in the Community (BITC). One of the key areas of focus for BITC is to improve young people's skills, attitudes and understanding in preparation for the world of work and employment.
As an Investor in People since 2003, SiteVisibility has also long displayed a commitment to nurturing talent and developing the Search Marketers of tomorrow. It is currently in its eighth year of sponsoring the “Best Digital Media Student” award at the University of Brighton, and recently presented the award at the prize-giving ceremony which honours the top 40-50 students in the School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics. SiteVisibility also provides a third year placement opportunity for one student each year, helping them prepare for the world of work.

Jason Woodford, SiteVisibility CEO comments: “Despite being a small business employing less than 30 people, the SiteVisibility team is able to use its skills and interests to raise funds for those that need it most. The NSPCC is a charity which touches our hearts and we are confident that we will smash that £1,600 mark. Also, by engaging with our clients and the local business community through activities like the survey and recently arranged football tournament, we’re able to help others to get involved and this has had a positive impact on workplace productivity and satisfaction.”
