Get Four Times the Happy Hour at the Aventine

Indulge in after-work specials at one of the Aventine's four acclaimed restaurants

 
PRLog - Aug. 21, 2012 - SAN DIEGO -- Aventine, home to Truluck’s, Fleming’s, Melting Pot and Cafe Japengo, is inviting the workweek weary to celebrate close-of-business with cocktails and tasty bites at one of the four popular restaurants.

“We want our patrons to feel at home when they come to the Aventine,” said Travis Gorzeman, manager of the Aventine. “The Happy Hour specials at our restaurants are a way for us and each establishment to say ‘welcome, relax and thanks for visiting.’”


Truluck's: Guests can  kick back as early as 4:30 p.m. at Truluck’s “Cocktail Hour” with half-price cocktails and 25 percent off all bottles of wine through 7 p.m. every day and all night Sunday. Enthusiasts can dine on Salt and Pepper Calamari ($6.50), Crab Cake Sliders ($9) and New Orleans BBQ Shrimp ($6.50). Other half-price appetizers include French Fries, Mini Bacon Cheeseburgers and $2 Carrot Cake and Chocolate Malt Cupcakes.


Cafe Japengo: “Happy Hour” kicks off at 5 p.m. with $5 Rock Safe cocktails, $5 well drinks and $3 large hot sake specials. Other highlights include a menu full of appetizers such as Duck Potstickers, Curry Dusted Calamari and Crispy Chicken Spring Rolls for less than $12.  “Happy Hour” at Cafe Japengo lasts from 5 until 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and all evening Sunday.


Fleming's:  Fleming’s “5 for $6 ’Til 7” runs Monday through Sunday with a menu of five cocktails, five wines by the glass and five appetizers all priced at $6 each. Specials include the restaurant’s Half-Pound Prime Burger with Cheese and Bacon for $6 as well as Baked Brie in a Puff Pastry, Sweet Chili Calamari and Tenderloin Carpaccio.  Specialty cocktails include a Malibu Coconut Rum Martini with or a Pomtini with Smirnoff Vodka for $6.


Melting Pot: Melting Pot’s “Happy Hour” lasts until 6 p.m. every Monday through Friday in the bar and on the patio. The restaurant has declared Wednesday “Wine Night,” as well. Patrons can enjoy 50 percent off all bottles regularly priced at less than $100. Other half-off items include cheese and chocolate fondues, signature cocktails, martinis, salads and wines by the glass.
