Alegria Debuts $7 Lunch In 15 Minutes Menu

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 21, 2012 - One of downtown Long Beach’s most venerable restaurants has launched a new menu designed for the busy executive seeking value.  Effective immediately, Alegria’s new Express Lunch Menu is available Mondays – Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., all items can be prepared in 15 minutes and cost only $7 each.  Items include Alegria Pollo, Alegria Salad, Burrito Mojado, Enchiladas Con Mole, Fideos Con Chipotle, Pechuga de Pollo, Quesadilla Alegria, Tacos Fritos and Taco Salad.
   
“We launched this new menu expressly for the busy executive who wants a quality dining experience but only has a short window of time to dine,” said General Manager Jose Huitron.  “The fact that all items are available for $7 makes this the deal of the century!”
   
Huitron said that each Friday, the restaurant offers a $15 all-you-can-eat lunch buffet that has attracted considerable attention.  Also available on Fridays is $8 unlimited Sangria served during lunch hours.

Featuring a menu of Latin American entrees, Alegria is one of Long Beach’s best-loved restaurants.  The menu includes entrees representing all parts of Latin America including Mexican chicken mole, traditional Spanish paella Valenciana, Brazilian sweet rotisserie chicken and a Cuban pork dish.  The 170-seat establishment draws an international crowd eager to witness its festive live entertainment.
