Currently promoting the new single in the Southeast Region and getting ready for a 5 city college tour Yayo is focused on servicing the streets and catering to the DJ’s to ensure the success of this record. “I put a lot into making this single; it is not about bragging it is about my life and what I go through on a regular bases” explains Yayo. “I want people to understand my music as well as me as an artist.”
Leaked at the end of last year the single “All I see is Hundreds” was not set to drop till the summer of 2012 however once DJ Smallz heard it he knew it was a hit and it was placed on his Southern Smoke Mix tape series. It was also remixed in February for the All Star Edition with Q6 aka Marquis Daniels of the Boston Celtics. Since the underground leak the song has seemed to have legs of its own.
Yayo Speaks on Joining Forces with Future & Will A Fool for the Single “All I see is Hundreds”
I wanted to give the streets something to have fun with; my first single Everything 4 Da Money explained my struggle and what I go through to get money, basically the risk and the chances that we take every day in my neighborhood, I am not condoning what I do for the money but it is a fact of life. But with this single “All I see is Hundreds”, I wanted to come from a different angle I wanted to have a celebration of sort so I teamed up with the homie Will A Fool to produce a hot track and when I heard it I was like this is a street anthem so it was a no brainer to get Future on the track, he currently runs the streets of Atlanta.
