Grande Provence will offer a culinary experience during the festival, consisting of an array of tapas from around the world, created by Executive Chef Darren Badenhorst and his culinary team, which includes oyster’s Kilpatrick, tempura prawns as well as Asian pork belly amongst others.
Guests are invited to experience the Estate’s newest white wine releases to celebrate the arrival of spring – the Grande Provence Chardonnay 2011 and the Grande Provence Sauvignon Blanc 2012 and also the Viognier Chenin Blanc 2012.
The Estate will offer guests a complimentary bottle of its famous Grande Provence winter red wines when purchasing 11 bottles of its signature Shiraz or Cabernet Sauvignon wines. Free wine tastings of all of the Grande Provence wines will also be available from 10h00 – 17h00 on both days.
Live music by Marimba Vibrations can be experienced while a game of boules can be enjoyed in the expansive manicured gardens.
‘The Gallery’ at Grande Provence will present a group exhibition called “Walk this Earth Alone”.
Grande Provence will also host a truly memorable gourmet event at The Restaurant with a five-course degustation menu, paired with award-winning Grande Provence and New Zealand vintages at R495 per person on Saturday, 1 September 2012 at 19h00. Bookings are essential.
