Power Design partnered with the developers Erkiletian, Jefferson Apartment Group, WDG Architecture and Mechanical Design Group to provide the electrical systems design on the project and SE Foster will be spearheading the construction. The 254-unit luxury residential tower will feature Energy Star’s advanced lighting package, renewable energy sources, energy-efficient materials, sustainable landscaping and advanced recycling systems. The multifamily market in the Washington, D.C. metro area is expected to generate more than 4,700 apartment units and 44,000 jobs in 2012, increasing the local industry employment rate by 1.5 percent (Source: Marcus & Millichap).
