Pantego Christian Academy Celebrates 50 Years of Excellence in Private Christian Education

Aug. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Pantego Christian Academy, a leader in the private Christian school experience, is marking half a century of excellence with its 50th Anniversary Celebration that will run through Fall of 2013. From its early days as a Pre-School and Kindergarten, Pantego Christian Academy has grown to be a district powerhouse; a PreK-12th grade academy graduating National Merit Scholars, sending 100% of its seniors to college and offering a full range of fine arts and athletics in addition to our college preparatory, Bible based curriculum.

At the inception of our 50th year, PCA will formally begin introducing our elementary students as scholars, a nod to our commitment to the Depth and Complexity method of learning that we alone offer in Texas private curriculum.  Ebby Halliday Realtor Kristina Anderson  found such value in our Depth and Complexity program, she has signed on as the official sponsor.

The school celebrates unparalleled physical growth as well.  In the past two years, Pantego Christian Academy has renovated a former department store and opened its high school campus there.  This summer, phase two of that build-out was completed.  The academy’s Mansfield elementary campus has grown from 36 to 137 children in five years.  The school’s master plan includes a sports complex and stadium, a performing arts theater and updates to every building on campus.  

“We couldn’t grow at the rate we grow, and provide such a spacious, beautiful and modern learning environment for our students if not for the faithful support of both PCA families and community partners,” says Julie Nicholson, PCA Director of Development.  “We have planned our 50th Anniversary events with our families and supporters in mind; we are so excited to focus our celebrations on those who brought us where we are today.”
