Waterloo Road's Philip Martin Brown hosts party in aid of Young Epilepsy

Waterloo Road actor Philip Martin Brown hosted a party this weekend in aid of national charity, Young Epilepsy.
 
Aug. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- The event, which included performances from cast members Heather Pearce and Rebecca Craven, was held in Glasgow - where the show is filmed - and helped to raise money and awareness of the charity that is dedicated to children and young people aged 25 and under living with epilepsy.  Philip, who was himself diagnosed with epilepsy at the age of 19, became an ambassador for the charity last year.

Philip Martin Brown, said; “Everyone had a wonderful time and we are delighted to support such a deserving charity as Young Epilepsy. The £1,070 raised will go towards helping the 112,000 young people aged 25 and under living with epilepsy in the UK”.

Epilepsy effects over 112,000 children and young people aged 25 and under, and is the most common neurological condition in the UK. Young Epilepsy is dedicated to children and young people aged 25 and under living with epilepsy.
