Business Booms For Lancashire's Beta Group

Aug. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Despite the continued gloom and doom across the economy, business is booming for Rossendale-based Beta Group’s Special Coatings Division which has contributed more than £1 million to the group’s record-breaking £4.3 million turnover in its last financial year.
The division, which supplies paints and lacquers to furniture and kitchen manufacturers as well as bedroom and bathroom suppliers and the shop-fitting sector, has been extremely busy.
Special Coatings Division director Terry Brandon, believes the company’s continued success is a direct result of a highly professional and customer-focussed approach to business.
“The industries we serve know they can rely on us for the supply of high quality paints and lacquers,” said Mr Brandon, speaking from the company’s HQ at Underbank Mill in Bacup.
“That’s why we only use the very best manufacturers like Hesse-Lignal of Germany and UK based Intercoat Paints. Our professionalism means we can offer our customers any colour from any UK colour chart. Or we can match any customer colour provided.
“We can also provide some of the very latest products on the market like the new liquid-metal products. These are very special lacquers that can make a piece of furniture look like it is made out of copper for instance.”
Mr Brandon, who lives in Stacksteads, believes that the Special Coatings Division can and will become a one-stop-shop where client businesses can source the widest range of coatings products and advice, secure in the knowledge that they are buying from a company with vast expertise.
And with more than 35 years experience in the coatings sector, Mr Brandon knows that there are few in the business that could rival the Special Coatings Division’s depth of business know-how. In fact the five employees within the division have more than 100 years experience in the coatings sector between them.
“I joined Beta Group eight years ago after a 23 years career with one of the country’s biggest names in coatings came to an end through redundancy,” added Mr Brandon. “In that time we have built a specialist coatings supplier with a great reputation.
“And that reputation is having a positive effect on our financial performance with turnover set to top the £1 million mark this year.”
