Coach Wellington has announced that the new Alemany top hurdlers will be competing for the first time in the shuttle relays in both 100 hurdles for women and the 110 hurdles for men. Brisa is very excited about continuing her academics at Bishop Alemeny HS and looking forward to being a part the new training program recently implemented. The new found support for the track and field program from the Principal Frank Ferry has surprised many with the announcement of a new tartan track now under construction. Brisa was inspired by Olympic hurdlers Lolo Jones and Sally Pearson by watching them on Youtube which motivated her to run hurdles.
