The workshop will provide all business owners, chamber members or not, an opportunity to learn how social media can be a very effective and inexpensive way to market their products or service and answer questions such as:
- What type of social media will work for my business?
- How much time does it take to have an effective social media marketing program?
- What does Social Media really cost?
The Black Canyon City Chamber Board is working closely with the Northern Arizona Chapter of SCORE to bring quality workshops to business owners. The Chamber Board is providing these workshops to help businesses profit and stay viable in these tough economic times. Two additional free workshops will be scheduled in the fall, one in October and one in November, followed by a business plan workshop series in January. This workshop series will take business owners through the entire process of developing a complete business plan. There will be a nominal fee for this specific series of classes and will include a workbook and individual counseling.
SCORE is a non-profit association and a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Association. SCORE is dedicated to the education, growth and success of U. S. small businesses and non-profits.
The workshops will be held at the local Chamber of Commerce Office and Visitors Center, 34561 Old Black Canyon Hwy. Black Canyon City, AZ, 85324. For more information contact the Chamber Office and Visitor’s Center at 623-374-9797.
